Ghorepani - Poon Hill (7 days / 6 nights)

Everest-base-camp-Namche The Ghorepani-Poon Hill trek is among the most popular trails in Nepal, and it lives up to expectations. While fairly short and easy, this hike packs a punch with spectacular views of the Annapurnas throughout.

The route takes you on motorable roads, which give way to steep stone steps, and crossing suspension bridges as you navigate farms, rhododendron forests and Gurung villages.

The trek will take you from Nayapul to Ghorepani . We will hike up Poon Hill (3210 meters), a legendary vantage point from where you can watch the rising sun shimmer on the mountains. We will move on to Ghandruk, a small Gurung village known for being the home of the Gurkhas, and then back to Pokhara via Dhampus – Phedi.
Day 1: Kathmandu – Pokhara (6 hours drive, or 30 mins flight)
Day 2: The Trek Begins: Pokhara – Nayapul - Tikhe Dhunga (6-7 hours)
Day 3: Tikhe Dhunga – Ghorepani (6-7 hours)
Day 4: Ghorepani – Poon Hill (3210 meters) - Tadapani (5-6 hours)
Day 5: Tadapani – Ghandruk - Landruk (5-6 hours)
Day 6: Landruk - Pokhara (5-6 hours)
Day 7: Pokhara - Kathmandu (6 hours drive, or 30 mins flight)
