Everest Up Close (6 days / 7 nights)

Everest-base-camp-Namche This is a short trek that will bring you face-to-face with Mt. Everest, the world’s highest peak. The teahouse trek provides a variety of different experiences including glimpses of Himalayan Thar and peacocks, forays into the history of mountaineering, over 8 suspension bridges, and spectacular views of the highest peak in the world.

You can also opt for a deluxe version of this trek, where, instead of staying in teahouses, you will be accommodated in exceptional Tibetan-style luxury hotels where you can relax properly after a hard day of trekking.

While the trek is 7 days long, it is wise to build a couple of days into your schedule as weather-related delays are frequent for flights in and out of Lukla.

Day 1: Kathmandu – Lukla – Phakding (45 minutes flight, 3 hours trek)
Day 2: Phakding – Namche Bazaar (6-7 hours)
Day 3: Namche – Syangboche / Khumjung – Namche (4 hours)
Day 4: Namche Bazaar – Phakding (3-4 hours)
Day 5: Phakding – Lukla (3 hours)
Day 6: Lukla – Kathmandu (45 minutes flight)
